(ACT) first emerged upon the Houston telecommunications scene as a contractor for the largest telecommunications companies in Houston (Williams Communications, now NextiraOne; Southwestern Bell, now SBC; GTE, now Verizon; and Fairchild Communications, now Shared Technologies).
