The Crisis Assistance Center (CAC) held its annual Legacy Luncheon Wednesday at The Woodlands United Methodist Church where ITVibes attended as a sponsor for their cause of helping Montgomery County residents who need financial assistance to establish self-sufficiency. A 3-course lunch menu was served while guests mingled with local supporting businesses and listened to the influential speakers planned for the afternoon. Guest speaker, Jim McIngvale (Mattress Mack), gave an insightful talk on the importance of helping our local community and giving what time and financial support we can towards the cause of assisting CAC. His moving stories impacted everyone in the room when he told about how he started Gallery Furniture and the importance of “made in America.” Chad Patterson, Executive Director of CAC, then spoke about the history of CAC and its community role for the past 35 years. Johnny Bravo, 89.3 KSBJ Outreach Manager, and On-Air talent, acted as event host for the afternoon. He explained his passion for encouraging people and how he has incorporated that passion into his music career in Houston.
